Project description

The main objective of Gregory Cormack is the creation and ongoing curation of a database of autism databases worldwide. There are a multitude of databases on autism around the world. So, from the perspective of an autism researcher, trying to test a research hypothesis can be a very difficult and daunting task! Where do you find the information you need? What database or databases have the data you want? The main goal of Mr. Cormack is to help members of the research team find the data they need. This is accomplished, in part, by the creation of an information resource, a database of autism databases.

It is one thing to know which database contains the desired data. Getting access to this data can be a real challenge in some cases. Another important objective is to help Dr. Mottron's researchers gain access to certain databases with extensive and involved requirements for granting this access. With access to a given dataset, Mr. Cormack can then help the researcher concerned by gathering, organizing, and parsing the data for further in depth analysis.
